As the student makes their way through the software, their responses to all the activities and notes while reading are collected and organized into a journal. Personalized journals include a recap of the instruction and an explanation of the activity’s relevance to the reading process. Each section also includes their notes made while reading. The student is encouraged to reference their reading journal to support answers for during reading activities and again to reflect and write summaries in the after reading section.
